Gumboots is a track I wrote a long, loooong time ago, about resilience. It's a retro, jazzy tune, (bit of a French vibe, hence the Paris umbrella), about having a playful attitude to life in the midst of difficult and annoyingly unyielding circumstances ☔️
It's an 'attitude is everything' kind of song, delivered with a lay-back, jazzy (yes, Joshua Ford-King on the trumpet 🎺 ) vibe....
